How To Fix "The Specified Backup Storage Location Has The Shadow Copy Storage On Another Volume (0x80780038)" on Windows 10/8.1/8/7
1. Press Windows Key + X then select Command Prompt (Admin). In the Command Prompt window, type control system and press Enter to execute.
2. Click System protection.
3. Select the drive to which you’re trying to create backup then select Configure.
4. Next, when System Protection for Others window pops up, select Turn on system protection under Restore Settings.
5. Then set the Max Usage slider to a lower value than existing value.
6. Click Delete to delete all restore points for this drive.
5. Lastly, click Apply followed by OK to save changes.
