I get the following error message when trying to access the VLC media player in my windows 10 PC : The application was unable to start correctly(0xc000007b).Click OK to close the application.
This type of errors are appearing when trying to access the following applications like that far cry 4, gta v, gta 5, fifa 15,vlc media player,photoshop cs,pes 2016,battlefield 4,adobe,adobe cs6,age of empires,assassin's creed rogue,black ops 2,bioshock,castlevania,dragon ball xenoverse 2,dying light,dll,gta san andreas,halo 2.
1. Try running it as administrator. To do that, you right-click it, choose Properties then go to the Compatibility tab. Tick the “Run this program as an administrator” box, and click OK to save changes.
2. Reboot your system then check if you can run the application.
3. Re-install the program or application.
4. Make sủe that you’ve installed .NET Framework 3.5 in Windows 10.
5. This error message may appear when the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Package is not properly configured. So, make sure your Windows 10 have latest C++ Redistributable Package(s) installed.
6. Update Windows 10 to avoid these kind of errors.
7. Perform a clean boot of Windows 10.
8. Reinstall DirectX runtime component.
